Day 1. Three ocean dives outside Playa del Carmen. The boat rides are no more than 20 minutes. Two dives in the morning. Tortugas - 60ft - people usually see about 20 turtles and huge tarpons. Sabalos - wall reef - 40ft. Lunch on a secluded beach. Afternoon, one dive to Padre Verde to a reef wall at 80ft. Day finished at 4.30.

Day 2. Cavern dives.  Start of the Cavern Diving Course. Morning at Ponderossa - 45ft.  Afternoon at Taj Maha - 50ft. Day finished at 4.00 - 5.00pm.

Day 3. Cavern dives. Morning at Grand Cenote - 30ft, afternoon at Chikin Ha - 45ft. Day finished at 4.00 - 5.00pm. 

Day 4. Cavern dives at Dos Ojos two dives at 25ft. Day finished at 4.00 - 5.00pm. 

Day 5. Ocean dives at Tortugas deep - 80ft, and Moc Che Profundo - 40ft, lunch on a secluded beach and an afternoon dive Moc che BajoDeep - 95ft. Day finished at 4.00 - 5.00pm. Or

Cenote Angelitas,  a sink hole at 90ft, followed by a 70 ft dive to The Pit.

Day 6. Trip to The Coba and Tulum ruins, and a cool off swim in the beautiful Cho Ha cavern.

Below is a suggested outline for each day, and a link to some images of the dive sites. This is just an outline, and your group can tailor your days to your own specifications, depending upon what your scuba club arranges.

The cavern package tour is a 6 day tour of the caverns, ruins, and oceans of the Riviera Maya.  The trip includes a single tank cavern course certification over three days.  One or two days of ocean diving and a final day at the ruins of Coba.
