These images, are, yet again, taken with just a point and shoot camera. Sure, the quality is not that good, but you get great little shots from a camera you can slot into your pocket like a wallet or credit card. Point and Shoot cameras do not cover long distances well, but this has done a good job today. We are in system Jardines del Eden on highway 307 cleaning up the lines and basically finding excuses to cram in as much caving fun as we can. Apparently the halocline is very hard to capture on film with a flash. You will see in the pictures the fresh water above, and salt water below. Their interaction in the water produces visual illusions, distortions and a dramatic loss of visibility. As you will see, the camera is not out of focus, it is just the Halocline.
